Karen BlondenController

As Controller for Worktank, Karen Blonden is the agency's steward of Human Resources, Facilities, and Finance. Her sound fiscal judgment and seasoned perspective ensures that the agency's work processes run smoothly. She puts paychecks in employees' bank accounts, keeps water in the cooler, and keeps vendors happy.

Working as a CPA for over 20 years, Karen has worked for several businesses in the service industry. Before joining Worktank, she performed the same duties for Pacific Telecom Services LLC, which did site development work for cellular carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. Karen also served as Associate Director of Motion Picture Accounting for 20th Century Fox Film Corp., overseeing all theatrical revenue including theatre, pay television and home video. She has also operated a consulting business; enjoying the challenge of working with small companies, setting up systems and procedures to facilitate growth.

When she's not working, Karen spends time with her family, and is active in fundraising for her children's schools.
