Front-End Web Developer (Freelance)
The Front-end Web Developer will write presentation-level code to integrate back-end logic with user interfaces. This includes hand-coding XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and ASP.Net. Candidate should also have a working knowledge of Photoshop and Flash/Actionscript.
Responsibilities
- Develop semantic XHTML templates with cross-browser compatibility, content accessibility, and both server-side and client-side dynamic content in mind
- Make technology recommendations for developing interfaces when both usability and budget are a concern
- Develop JavaScript-powered widgets which consume and post to web services
- Work around limitations of auto-rendered ASP.Net server controls purely using CSS
- Build out entire sites based on XHTML templates
- Work closely with Flash/Silverlight developers to facilitate data exchange between these objects, the interface, and a backend data store
- Make graphics and layout changes on the fly when necessary
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Proven experience in cross-browser compatibility issues, semantic markup, web accessibility, and SEO
- Strong knowledge of design and usability principles
- Knowledge of leading JavaScript libraries; JQuery a plus
- Experience with AJAX using any library
- Experience using ASP.Net and n-Tier architecture
- Experience with Visual Studio and Visual SourceSafe
- Strong organization skills including time and project management
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to communicate complex visual, structural, and functional concepts
- Additional web skills and OS X/Windows versatility knowledge a plus
- Ability to derive ASP.Net web controls to achieve semantic, standards-compliant layout implementations a plus

Webcast Producer (Freelance)
To facilitate approximately 25-30 webcasts per month, managing logistics, production and customer experience for each webcast.
Responsibilities
- Enter information and schedule webcasts within Registration/Event Management Systems
- Enter information and schedule webcasts within Microsoft Office Live Meeting system
- Create custom web pages to promote webcasts using existing templates
- Process webcast request forms
- Alter web URLs/Links as needed
- Perform QA checks for webcast events
- Create event documentation (schedules, reminder mails, training documents)
- Organize presenter management (scheduling events and tracking down PPT decks)
- Maintain logistics (Keeping track of the daily deliverables)
- Deliver presenter training sessions and ensure presenters questions are answered
- Contribute in the creation of webcast training materials
- Support Tier 1 inquiries and escalate event issues to support staff
- Interact with other service vendors as needed
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements
- You are an outgoing, confident individual who projects a personable intelligence
- You understand the basics in Outlook and Microsoft Office applications: Creating a meeting maker, sorting and filing emails and setting alerts, sorting data in Excel and cutting and pasting data to/from cells, altering data in PowerPoint
- You have the ability to remain calm and “think on your feet” in a crisis
- You are a creative thinker who comes up with outside-the-box ideas for problem solving
- You have a proven ability to multi-task
- You have a love for technology with a passion for learning and adapting to new technology/software
- You have worked in enough jobs that you've achieved a certain level of business maturity (you know what to say and what not to say and to whom)
- You possess a dedicated sense of responsibility
- You have a really good eye for detail and catch the little things that others often miss
- You are devoted to giving great customer service
- You may have some experience with public speaking (or are at least comfortable talking to large groups of people) since live meetings will consist of you being the on-air moderator/broadcast host
- You work well with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Must be able to use a computer
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
