Senior Account Manager

Our Client Services team consists of exceptional account managers who are passionate about our clients and ensuring that our marketing efforts are successful.
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who is seasoned at exceptional customer service; a marketing professional who has great listening and negotiating skills, and a person who has experience managing all client scenarios. This individual is detail-oriented, and they effortlessly work with our project management, creative, and delivery technology teams to ensure that our products and services are delivered on time and satisfying our client’s expectations.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be a leader on an account team that is responsible for growing our relationship with one or more of our clients, and you will own the management and success of client projects. You will also have the opportunity to mentor account managers through your actions and effective communications.
You will be accountable for successfully communicating our client’s needs internally, and presenting our marketing recommendations to the client. You will write, manage and document all client communications – proposals, scheduling, scope changes, contact and meeting summaries, and client feedback. You will learn and understand our client’s industry, their products and services, their competition, and their objectives. You will deeply understand Worktank’s service offerings and can convey them fluently. You will be responsible for internally representing the client and ensuring we develop effective solutions to meet the client’s business objectives and their satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage client expectations by developing proposals, scopes of work, and creative briefs which address all aspects of program implementation from project initiation through project completion and reconciliation
- Own the account relationship; monitor budgets, approve billing, implement project process, ensure profitability and supervise account manager (if applicable)
- Manage all project communications with the client including phone call and meeting summaries, scope changes, and client feedback and approvals
- Works closely with senior account team managers to direct group’s platform for growth
- Establish solid relationship with the client's key members and decision makers to better understand their objectives so that Worktank will continually satisfy the client's needs
- Keeps up-to-date and proficient in all new and existing company offerings
- Be available to mentor and guide account managers on client relationships and project management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years ad agency experience in a client facing role; proven marketing communication experience
- At least 2 years experience managing either a wireless device manufacturer, wireless carrier, or closely related account
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in speaking and writing; proven talent with writing winning proposals and effective status reports, eloquently expressing recommendations and budgets, and articulating the client’s needs
- Painless capability to motivate and encourage internal teams that are appropriate to managed projects
- Solid understanding and experience account managing video, interactive and web project lifecycles
- Possess leadership attributes, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive, long-term client and staff relationships
- Self-motivated with great organizational skills; ability to prioritize, multitask, manage complex workload, and handle pressure
- Working proficiency of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Upbeat and appreciative attitude

Webcast Producer (Freelance)
To facilitate approximately 25-30 webcasts per month, managing logistics, production and customer experience for each webcast.
Responsibilities
- Enter information and schedule webcasts within Registration/Event Management Systems
- Enter information and schedule webcasts within Microsoft Office Live Meeting system
- Create custom web pages to promote webcasts using existing templates
- Process webcast request forms
- Alter web URLs/Links as needed
- Perform QA checks for webcast events
- Create event documentation (schedules, reminder mails, training documents)
- Organize presenter management (scheduling events and tracking down PPT decks)
- Maintain logistics (Keeping track of the daily deliverables)
- Deliver presenter training sessions and ensure presenters questions are answered
- Contribute in the creation of webcast training materials
- Support Tier 1 inquiries and escalate event issues to support staff
- Interact with other service vendors as needed
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements
- You are an outgoing, confident individual who projects a personable intelligence
- You understand the basics in Outlook and Microsoft Office applications: Creating a meeting maker, sorting and filing emails and setting alerts, sorting data in Excel and cutting and pasting data to/from cells, altering data in PowerPoint
- You have the ability to remain calm and “think on your feet” in a crisis
- You are a creative thinker who comes up with outside-the-box ideas for problem solving
- You have a proven ability to multi-task
- You have a love for technology with a passion for learning and adapting to new technology/software
- You have worked in enough jobs that you've achieved a certain level of business maturity (you know what to say and what not to say and to whom)
- You possess a dedicated sense of responsibility
- You have a really good eye for detail and catch the little things that others often miss
- You are devoted to giving great customer service
- You may have some experience with public speaking (or are at least comfortable talking to large groups of people) since live meetings will consist of you being the on-air moderator/broadcast host
- You work well with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Must be able to use a computer
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
