Flash Developer (Freelance)

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of Flash development experience, be an expert in ActionScript 2.0 object oriented programming, and have demonstrable prior experience developing Flash applications, frameworks and APIs. Additional experience with ActionScript 3.0, PHP, ASP.NET, or Java is a plus.

This is an on-site position.

What We Need From You

  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Flash CS3
  • Expertise in advanced object oriented ActionScript 2.0 development (AS 3.0 a plus)
  • Proficiency with basic XML, specifically for data import to Flash
  • Ability to work from a minimal spec and assist in problem solving
  • Demonstrated experience in creating functional UI
  • Proficiency in current OS and working knowledge of related programs (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • A strong understanding of the Graphic Design side of Flash
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to team, focus on the user experience, passion for pushing the boundaries of new technology
