Worktank Wins 3 Gold Marcom Awards

SEATTLE -- Worktank has been awarded three Gold MarCom Creative Awards for their work on Microsoft's Market Expansion Group videos "A Brighter Future" and "A Mother's Dream" and for the "See Windows Vista" Web site.

Microsoft's Market Expansion Group launched Windows(R) XP Starter, a computer and software package for lower-income families. Worktank sent a production crew to Argentina, Brazil, and Chile to produce eight compelling videos of families and individuals whose lives have been transformed by owning a computer. The new Windows XP Starter package makes it easier to learn and use a PC with tools and tutorials for those less familiar with computers, and runs on more affordable entry-level hardware. The videos were seen by press, dignitaries, analysts, government officials, and partners in other countries.

The "See Windows Vista" Web site continues to sweep up more awards. It has now accumulated five awards ranked gold or higher. The Web site, featuring actor Tom Skerritt as video host, provides Windows Vista(TM) information to a business audience and profiles 20 companies developing extraordinary applications for the Windows Vista operating system. The Web site incorporates dynamic media, technology, and video to entertain and educate visitors on the possibilities enabled by Windows Vista. The site includes Microsoft partner videos incorporated with text, graphics, music, and voiceover to illustrate the features and advantages of Windows Vista. To see it, go to www.seewindowsvista.com

"We're ecstatic that our teams' talent is getting the recognition they deserve," says CEO Melinda Partin. "The variety of all the awards we've won this year reflects the diversity of our team."
