Worktank Certified by WBENC
Worktank Creative Media was recently certified by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC, www.wbenc.org), a national certification organization recognized by more than 500 major corporate-supplier diversity programs. The stringent certification process ensures that the business has 51% ownership by a woman or women, effective management, solid financials, and a demonstrable level of clients and contracts past and present. As the final step, upon approval of the application and review of supporting documentation, a WBENC representative conducted a site visit and interviewed co-founders Melinda Partin and Leslie Rugaber.
Due to the thoroughness of the certification process, WBENC certification is one of most the widely recognized and respected certifications in the country. Special programs and initiatives developed by WBENC also provide certified Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) with added information, training, and resources for growing their business opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
