Worktank Teams with Microsoft Technology Access Foundation
Worktank partnered with Microsoft Studios to create a kickoff video for the Technology Access Foundation (TAF), a group headquartered in Seattle that works to increase access to technology and job opportunities for young people of color.
The video was shown to approximately 150 attendees at the TAF Alliance kickoff event at the Rainier Club hosted by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. The attendees were all members of organizations who have joined the TAF Alliance and have agreed to donate between $5,000 and $50,000 to TAF and to hire one to ten interns next summer.
Each attendee was given a CD with a copy of the video on it which they can use to share with employees or customers their involvement with the TAF Alliance.
Members of the press also received a copy of the CD, and the video is available to viewers on the TAF Web site (www.techaccess.org).
