Redesigning Datalight's Image

As manufacturers constantly develop new consumer electronic devices, they continue to demand cutting-edge software technology for each device. Working to fulfill that demand, Datalight, a small, innovative technology company, is constantly creating new software that is used in Samsung, Canon, and Sony products. To reflect their innovative product line, Datalight decided to update their brand's look and feel.

To revitalize their brand from a 1980s startup look, Datalight approached Worktank to assist in the process. Over the years, Datalight has become a cutting-edge, embedded-technology devices company, but their image needed revamping. To identify and completely understand Datalight's new positioning, Worktank interviewed customers and partners and hosted internal employee meetings. Utilizing the responses, Worktank developed a flexible solution easy for Datalight to manage, from printing materials in-house to managing their Web site updates. Worktank redirected the Web site's focus, redesigned the homepage, and revamped the back end of the site for easier maintenance and functionality. Worktank also re-branded their brochure, email newsletter, and letterhead, giving them a revived, up-to-date feel.

As technology continues to evolve, Datalight moves in sync, developing new software technologies for the constantly upgraded devices. So it only makes sense for Datalight's brand to reflect their up-to-date technology as they continue to meet the demands of manufacturers around the world.
