Banner Year for Awards

Worktank proudly announces its nomination as a finalist in the 26th annual Telly Awards which recognizes the incredible work of local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs and the finest video and film productions. Last year, the Telly Awards received over 10,000 entries from companies around the world. A team of judges composed of previous Telly winners and top-notch advertising and production professionals reviews each submission. Every entry is evaluated on a performance scale and then receives its recognition based on the combined judges' scores. Worktank received the finalist nomination for their Microsoft Research video "Turning Ideas in Reality" which highlighted the brightest people and technologies at Microsoft Research. The video is being used by Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer, and many other Microsoft executives to show Microsoft's innovation at executive-level presentations. Being nominated as a finalist for the Telly Awards brings Worktank a great sense of pride for the acknowledgement of their creativity.

Worktank continued to win awards for their videos with the Award of Distinction at the Videographer Awards. Worktank received this award for their video "Microsoft Research Overview: Brussels." The Videographer Awards is an international awards organization that recognizes the outstanding work of video production companies, independent producers, directors, writers, videographers, editors, and other production professionals; corporate communications departments; educational institutions; government entities; broadcast and cable television operations; advertising and public relations agencies; and other businesses and individuals. Only 17 percent of the projects entered were nominated for the Award of Distinction. Obviously, this is quite an honor for Worktank to be recognized from among the 2,293 entries submitted from a wide range of companies around the world.

As Worktank wins awards, they're also making sure their employees are happy in their jobs. We encourage them to explore their creativity and display it in their work and provide opportunities to share in the success of the company. So it just makes sense that Washington CEO magazine nominated us as a finalist in this year's list of Best Companies to Work For. "Since inception, we have provided our employees with the best benefits a company our size can buy and instituted compensation structures where employees share in the success of the company. Everyone works hard, and everyone should benefit," says Worktank CEO Melinda Partin.
